About The Position

Main Line HealthCare is hiring an Ambulatory Registered Nurse for its Orthopedics/Spine Practice on the Lankenau Medical Center campus. The nurse will support patients throughout their orthopedic and spine care journey through clinical assessment, care coordination, patient education, telephone triage, and ongoing communication with providers and patients. The role works closely with orthopedic and spine surgeons, advanced practice providers, medical assistants, and administrative team members to support pre- and post-operative care, medication refill coordination, follow-up needs, and patient questions.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited ASN or BSN nursing program.
• Current Pennsylvania RN license.
• Provider BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a clinical nursing setting and/or ambulatory care office.
• Strong telephone triage experience, including assessing patient concerns, prioritizing needs, and communicating effectively with providers.
• Experience with medication refill coordination and knowledge of insurance information.
• Orthopedic and/or spine patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessment and coordinate care for orthopedic and spine patients.
• Educate patients and respond to their questions throughout their care journey.
• Perform telephone triage and communicate with patients and providers.
• Support pre- and post-operative care and follow-up needs.
• Coordinate medication refills.
• Collaborate with orthopedic and spine surgeons, advanced practice providers, medical assistants, and administrative team members.
