Orlando Health Physician Associates is seeking an Ambulatory Imaging Services Manager to plan, develop, organize, oversee, and manage Ultrasound services and Ultrasound Technologists (Sonographers) in Women's Health, OBGYN, and Maternal Fetal Medicine. This role is responsible for maintaining the technical aspects of ultrasound services and acting as a liaison between technologists, physicians, operations management, and area support staff. The Manager will suggest equipment modifications, evaluate the accuracy and quality of ultrasound images, and perform ultrasound procedures. This position ensures continual, timely, and accurate services to patients within financial and budgetary guidelines across all assigned practice locations. The role involves managing a team of Ultrasound Technologists across multiple locations, maintaining corrective action plans for budgetary variances, and ensuring indicated accreditation for billing and governmental regulations. The Manager will also oversee and coordinate Ultrasound schedules, adhere to policy and procedures, and develop budgetary and procedural performance. Strategic development, setting standards with regulatory bodies, and participating in the Corporate Imaging Council are key aspects of this role. Collaboration with corporate teams, physicians, and supervisors to maintain AIUM accreditation, and developing team development activities are also required. The Manager will communicate and collaborate with various leadership levels to ensure proper department operations, maintain up-to-date guidelines, and manage personnel functions including hiring and disciplinary actions. The position requires maintaining regular attendance, compliance with Orlando Health policies, and assuring safe radioactive material practices. Attending and conducting meetings with staff, physicians, and vendors is also part of the responsibilities.
