About The Position

Xanitos is hiring an Ambulatory Housekeeper at Kaiser Permanente Fischer Crossings Medical Center in Sharpsburg, Georgia. The role keeps ambulatory facility premises clean and orderly by performing cleaning and related tasks. This is a first-shift position, scheduled 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with rotational weekends. The hourly pay rate is $15.50.

Qualified candidates may receive immediate offers. Applicants must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 unless granted a medical or religious exemption. Post-offer medical screening, background screening, and a drug test are required. A high school diploma or GED, or equivalent, is required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment unless granted a medical or religious exemption.
• Must complete post-offer medical screening, background screening, and a drug test.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing and walking, handling and reaching, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, and frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a standing position for long periods.
• Vision capabilities including close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses.
• May be exposed to chemicals requiring special clothing or safety equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the janitorial industry.
• Experience with medical cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Clean and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
• Sweep and/or vacuum floors.
• Dust furniture and equipment.
• Polish metalwork.
• Wash walls, ceilings, and woodwork.
• Wash windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empty wastebaskets.
• Transport trash and waste to the disposal area.
• Replenish bathroom supplies.
• Transport small equipment or tools between departments.
