About The Position

The Ambulatory Clinical Tech works as a team member in delivering quality patient care under the supervision of a Provider or Registered Nurse (RN). The role supports the examination and treatment of patients, facilitates clinic flow, and provides excellent patient care. The employee performs basic skills according to department guidelines and policies and communicates observations to members of the health care team.

The position is based at the ICCB Primary Care Clinic, a large practice providing family medicine, internal medicine, and pediatric care. The clinic expects team members to be proficient in clinical and clerical responsibilities, including adult and pediatric immunizations. Its fast-paced, team-oriented environment calls for proactive, adaptable employees who communicate effectively, manage time well, work at the top of their scope, and support colleagues as needed.

The clinic’s hours vary between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. The stated schedule is Monday through Friday, with 40 scheduled hours per week.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in clinical and clerical responsibilities, including administering adult and pediatric immunizations.
• Strong communication skills, including comfort asking questions, voicing needs, and working closely with others.
• Excellent time-management skills.
• Commitment to working at the top of the employee’s scope and a genuine passion for patient care.
