About The Position
Join the Cleveland Clinic team to provide patient-first healthcare while working alongside caregivers. This Licensed Practical Nurse role is based in ambulatory family medicine at the Middleburg Heights Family Health Center. The role primarily works 7:00am–4:30pm and may rotate evening hours until 8:00pm.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of Practical Nursing.
- Current Ohio license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross.
Nice To Haves
- One year of patient care experience.
Responsibilities
- Collect and document objective and subjective patient data and observations.
- Complete nursing assessments and report all data.
- Implement the current nursing care plan, medications, or treatments, and communicate patients’ responses.
- Observe patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments.
- Perform routine laboratory tests.
- Educate patients and family members.
