About The Position

This team member will serve in a clinical and clerical role. The team member delivers quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Provider; they also provide clerical support in complex matters to assist in the delivery of value-driven health care services. The individual will work very closely with the supervising physicians as well as the residents. The ACT plays an integral role in the teaching and development of the resident physicians. They will learn advanced skills and expand upon their medical knowledge to provide exceptional patient care in tandem with the providers they work with. The position will support Adult Plastic Surgery, Plastic Surgery Residency, General Surgery Residency, and Orthopedic Surgery Residency.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 90 Days

Nice To Haves

• 2 years of Insurance billing, access management, patient financial services, electronic health records, lab service support experience
• 2 years of clinical care experience
