About The Position

This team member will serve in a clinical and clerical role within the Neurosciences team, which consists of physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical and clerical support staff across five subspecialties: Neurosurgery, Epilepsy, Neurovascular Stroke, General Neurology, and Movement Disorders. The providers offer both inpatient and outpatient care and can be seen in the Operating Room (OR), Interventional Radiology (IR), and Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU). The practice emphasizes strong teamwork, adaptability, and determination to provide exceptional patient care and positive experiences. Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, offering diverse care options and opportunities for staff to learn and explore various interests or specialize. The team member will deliver quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Provider, and also provide clerical support for complex matters to assist in value-driven healthcare services.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 90 Days

Nice To Haves

• 2 years of Insurance billing, access management, patient financial services, electronic health records, lab service support experience
• 2 years of clinical care experience
