About The Position

The Ambassador serves as a main contact and key informational hub for guests on the gaming floor and assists with marketing and promotional programs. The role supports guest loyalty, relationships, and direct marketing efforts, provides service to meet guest needs, and helps guests understand HHR machine play. Ambassadors maintain knowledge of special events, promotions, advertising campaigns, and community events, and may perform inventory-stocking duties and other assigned tasks. The position pays $16.00 per hour. Team members may work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and may travel locally or off property for events as needed. The work environment is usually moderate to loud, and team members may be exposed to smoke on the gaming-room floor.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent guest service.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must obtain a valid Virginia Racing Commission License.
• Valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

• One year of customer service experience and/or training preferred.
• A combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Increase and identify the value of the company brand through programs and their execution.
• Execute guest loyalty, relationship, and direct marketing programs, and provide service in response to guest requirements.
• Assist guests on the gaming floor with understanding HHR machine play.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of special events, promotions, advertising campaigns, and community events.
• Display strong people skills and project a mature, confident presence.
• Perform duties related to stocking inventory.
• Maintain confidentiality of privileged information in accordance with established procedures, company policy, and state regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Travel locally or off property for events as needed.
