About The Position

GM Performance Power Units is seeking an AM Manufacturing Process Engineer to support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and quality systems. The role bridges engineering, quality, and operations to ensure manufacturing processes are clearly defined, documented, controlled, traceable, and capable of consistently producing high-quality parts for high-performance applications. The engineer will own manufacturing documentation, ERP/IFS process definition, quality control plans, SOP development, production readiness, and continuous improvement activities. This position is onsite in Concord, North Carolina, and reports directly to the AM Process & Automation Lead. Because the role requires access to export-controlled technology or information, the successful candidate must be able to satisfy applicable U.S. export-control requirements, which may require verification of U.S. Person status or eligibility to obtain required government authorization. The role supports GM Performance Power Units’ Formula 1 program in a startup racing environment backed by engineering experience. The engineer will help ensure the reliability and performance of a next-generation Formula 1 power unit. The company describes its culture as rewarding precision, innovation, and continuous pursuit of performance.
