About The Position
The Alterations Department Manager leads a team that provides alterations support and ensures customers receive a final product customized to fit properly. The manager uses extensive alterations knowledge to manage department operations efficiently. Candidates must be professionally competent in all basic and most advanced alterations.
Requirements
- Professional competence in all basic and most advanced alterations.
Responsibilities
- Motivate associates to deliver outstanding garments and customer service; train, coach, and lead by example.
- Perform all duties of an alterations associate and ensure garments are completed accurately and on time.
- Develop alterations associates’ skills to meet department goals.
- Assess associate performance and provide feedback to improve service and alterations quality.
- Develop and implement solutions to address customer problems and department needs.
