About The Position
The Alterations Department Manager leads a team providing alterations support and ensures customers receive garments customized to fit properly. The manager uses extensive alterations knowledge to oversee department operations. Candidates must be professionally competent in all basic and most advanced alterations.
Requirements
- Professional competence in all basic and most advanced alterations.
Responsibilities
- Motivate associates to deliver outstanding garments and customer service; train, coach, and lead by example.
- Perform the duties of an alterations associate and ensure garments are completed accurately and on time.
- Develop alterations associates’ skills to meet department goals.
- Assess associate performance and provide feedback to improve service and alterations quality.
- Develop and implement solutions to address customer problems and department needs.
- Manage the operations of the alterations department.
