Requirements
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to patient-centred care, workplace safety and confidentiality.
- Ability to follow clinical direction and assist with a range of therapy and support activities.
- AHA2: Hold or be working towards Certificate 3 in Allied Health Assistance, or equivalent.
- AHA3: Hold Certificate 4 in Allied Health Assistance, or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Assist with therapy programs, patient care, equipment preparation, patient transport and administrative tasks, contributing to safe, person-centred care across a range of clinical settings.
- Undertake more advanced clinical support activities, supervise junior Allied Health Assistants and assist with student learning (depending on classification level).
