About The Position

ENT and Allergy Associates (ENTA) is seeking an Allergy Nurse for its Astoria office. The role provides care for patients of all ages and works within a supportive environment focused on professional growth and teamwork among healthcare providers. The position may be filled by an RN or LPN; new graduates are welcome to apply. The listed hourly rates are $33.09 for LPN, $40 for RN, and $42.68 for BSN. The schedule is Monday 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m., Tuesday 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., Wednesday 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m., Thursday 9:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m., and Friday 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Saturday hours are 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. when the physician has hours. The schedule may change based on the physician’s schedule. ENTA is a large ENT, Allergy, and Audiology practice with more than 475 clinicians across over 70 clinical locations in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Texas. Requirements

Active RN or LPN license; new graduates are welcome to apply.
BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Administer allergy injections and monitor patients.
Perform allergy testing, including food, environmental, venom, drug, and chemical testing.
Conduct pulmonary function testing.
Assist the physician with patient care.
Complete administrative tasks, including insurance approvals, data entry, and restocking clinical supplies.
Respond to patient calls and messages.
