About The Position

Fast Park & Relax is seeking dependable, professional Shuttle Drivers to provide safe, reliable, timely, and courteous transportation between its parking facility and the Austin airport terminal. Drivers operate clean, well-maintained company vehicles and help create a positive passenger experience. The listed schedules are 10 p.m.–6 a.m. at $10.50 per hour plus tips and 6 p.m.–1 a.m. at $10.00 per hour plus tips. The role is part-time and located at Austin Fast Park in Del Valle, Texas.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver's license with a current address and an acceptable driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain a DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Experience working with diverse populations and providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to maintain a safe driving record and adhere to safety regulations.
• Excellent driving skills and a strong understanding of defensive driving techniques.
• Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
• Ability to navigate efficiently in various traffic conditions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and provide courteous customer service.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
• Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical issues.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and logs.
• Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed.
• Ability to assist passengers with luggage or other belongings.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

• Experience performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a shuttle bus in accordance with traffic laws and DOT regulations.
• Transport passengers to and from designated locations on established routes and schedules.
• Maintain accurate trip counts, required documentation, records, and logs.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues or mechanical concerns.
• Keep the shuttle's interior and exterior clean, orderly, and organized.
• Provide excellent, courteous customer service and respond to passenger questions.
• Assist passengers with luggage and other belongings.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, guest ambassadors, passengers, and team members.
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and customer service standards.
• Maintain a clean driving record and professional appearance.
• Participate in required DOT and company training.
• Report accidents or incidents immediately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
