About The Position

Fast Park & Relax is hiring a Shuttle Driver to provide safe, reliable, timely, and courteous transportation for guests traveling between its parking facility and the airport terminal. Drivers operate clean, well-maintained shuttle vehicles on established routes and schedules and contribute to a positive passenger experience. The role is based at Albuquerque Fast Park in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The facility operates 24/7, with evening and night shifts available; applicants should indicate their availability. Compensation is $16–$17 per hour, consisting of a base wage of $8.50–$9.00 per hour plus tips. Applicants must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record, and be able to obtain a DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate. A high school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is required. Candidates should have customer-service experience with diverse populations, strong defensive driving skills, and the ability to follow safety regulations, maintain records, communicate effectively, and assist passengers with luggage. Experience conducting vehicle inspections is a plus. The position also requires passing a background check and drug screening and the ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds and perform physical activities such as climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.

Ability to maintain a safe driving record and adhere to safety regulations.
Excellent driving skills and a strong understanding of defensive driving techniques.
Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and regulations and ability to navigate varied traffic conditions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with passengers, dispatchers, and staff.
Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and provide courteous customer service.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical issues.
Ability to maintain accurate records and logs.
Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds and climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed.
Ability to assist passengers with luggage or other belongings and maintain a clean, organized vehicle.
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a shuttle bus in compliance with traffic laws and DOT regulations.
Transport passengers to and from designated locations on established routes and schedules.
Maintain accurate trip counts, documentation, records, and logs.
Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report vehicle issues.
Keep the shuttle interior and exterior clean, orderly, and organized.
Provide excellent customer service and courteously answer passenger questions.
Assist passengers with luggage and other belongings.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, guest ambassadors, and team members.
Follow company policies, safety procedures, and customer service standards.
Maintain a clean driving record and professional appearance.
Participate in required DOT and company training.
Report accidents and incidents immediately.
Perform other duties as assigned.
