Airport Security Officer: Part-Time (Saturday/Sunday)

About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Airport Security Officer in Honolulu, Hawaii, at a government transportation location. The officer will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible security presence, and help deter security-related incidents. The role also involves providing professional customer service to travelers and staff and supporting a welcoming environment. Officers respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and follow security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. The work schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The pay rate is $25.25 per hour. Employees can use the company's platform to view and claim additional shifts. Employment is contingent on applicable background and drug screening requirements; licensing may be required under state or local rules.

Requirements

At least 1 year of airport experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients.
Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
Communicate professionally with travelers and staff and support a welcoming environment.
