As an Airport Security Officer: P/T TCO Sunday/Monday in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist travelers, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service. You will communicate clearly, document observations using computer or tablet tools, and support a welcoming environment. Requirements

  • 18+ Years of Age
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
  • Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and airport tenants while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout airport terminals, public areas, parking facilities, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
  • Monitor access points and restricted areas in accordance with site procedures, reporting unauthorized access attempts and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with airport operations, law enforcement, and emergency personnel when requested.
  • Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting requirements.
