As an Airport Security Officer: P/T Thursday/Friday in Kahului, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a driving Security Officer at a government airport location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment for travelers, staff, and visitors while documenting activities and responding to security-related concerns. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
  • Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening.
  • Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office.
  • Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
  • 18+ years of age

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, airport personnel, and/or other stakeholders by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established airport and government facility protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of terminal areas, parking facilities, access points, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
  • Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors and/or emergency responders.
  • Conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communication.
  • Support a welcoming environment for travelers, staff, and visitors.
  • Document activities and respond to security-related concerns.
