Requirements

Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
1+ years of Security Experience
18+ years of age
Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

A Guard Card/License is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and/or airport tenants while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminals, public areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as assigned, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity in accordance with site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with airport operations, law enforcement, and/or emergency personnel as directed.
Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns, following applicable site policies and procedures.
