Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy government transportation location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 1+ years of Security Experience
• 18+ years of age
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observed concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points, restricted areas, and credential activity in accordance with location protocols, and document security-related incidents, observations, and/or visitor interactions.
• Support crowd management, directional assistance, and general public assistance during busy travel periods, special events, and/or operational disruptions.
