Requirements

• 18+ Years of Age
• Valid Drivers License
• Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter access points to help identify unusual activity and/or potential policy violations.
• Monitor access points, restricted areas, and credential compliance while assisting with visitor direction and related questions in accordance with location protocols.
• Support day-to-day operations by communicating with site contacts, observing for maintenance and/or life-related hazards, and helping to deter unauthorized activity through a visible presence.
