Requirements

• 21 + Years of Age
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam
• Must also have the ability to pass a federal background check for DOT
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns and/or requesting assistance when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public access areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas in accordance with site protocols, documenting observations and/or reporting unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Support daily operations by assisting with directions, answering questions, and/or maintaining detailed activity and incident reports in line with post orders.
