Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Be able to lift up to 20 pounds, preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and public agencies as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, parking areas, roadways, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and restricted areas, observe for unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior, and report security-related concerns in accordance with site procedures.
Document daily activities, incidents, and observations, and assist with directions, information, and general support for people at the location.
