As an Airport Security Officer: Patrol Inspector in Kahului, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support travelers, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 1+ years of Security Experience
• 21+ years of age
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, public areas, restricted areas, parking locations, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and help to confirm that only authorized individuals enter designated locations, following post orders and government site protocols.
• Assist with directions, information, and general support while maintaining awareness of surroundings and communicating with local personnel and/or first responders when needed.
