Requirements

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 1+ years of Security Experience
• 21+ years of age
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations, hazards, and/or suspicious activity according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and pedestrian and/or vehicle traffic patterns while supporting access control measures and assisting with directions and general information.
• Document routine activities, patrol findings, and incident details in required logs and reports, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders when needed.
