Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
  • 1+ years of Security Experience
  • 21+ years of age
  • Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
  • Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A current CPR certification is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, tenants, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations and activity according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, public areas, parking locations, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and restricted areas, verify credentials and/or authorized access as directed by site policies, and communicate with supervisors and local authorities when needed.
  • Support government location operations by documenting incidents, assisting with crowd and traffic flow, and following post orders related to public-facing transportation environments.
