Requirements

Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and/or public personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter zones to help identify unusual activity and/or potential policy violations.
Monitor access points and restricted areas, verifying credentials and/or authorizations in accordance with site-specific procedures and government location requirements.
Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in clear reports, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
