About The Position
As an Airport Security Guard: F/T TCO Wednesday-Sunday in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements
- 18+ Years of Age
- Valid Drivers License
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
- Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, tenants, and airport personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of airport terminals, parking areas, access points, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations to appropriate airport personnel and/or Allied Universal supervision.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete required reports.
- Assist with traffic flow, passenger directions, and coordination with airport operations and public agencies during routine activities and emergency situations.
