About The Position

Appearance Care Associates perform a full range of cleaning duties in support of lounge operations at the premium lounge operated by Airport Dimensions, supporting the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club in Terminal 4 at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. They keep designated lounge areas clean and orderly and maintain the lounge and its facilities to support guest satisfaction and compliance with sanitation regulations. Duties include cleaning restrooms, removing trash, and cleaning furniture. The role requires a presentable, polished appearance, regular and timely attendance, and the ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays. The position pays $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in housekeeping or janitorial work.
• Ability to maintain a presentable and polished appearance consistent with service standards in a best-in-class environment.
• Ability to stand for an entire scheduled shift.
• Ability to handle the stress of a fast-paced shift lasting up to 10 hours.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to walk, bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions.
• Report to work regularly and on time.
• Follow local and state health department guidelines.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to pass and obtain a security background check and clearance to work in an airport environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and break rooms.
• Restock beverage stations.
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies using vacuum cleaners and/or shampooers.
• Empty wastebaskets and recyclables and transport waste to disposal areas.
• Clean and disinfect restroom sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, and floors.
• Replenish restroom supplies and polish metalwork, including fixtures and fittings.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; perform additional floor work such as scrubbing, waxing, and polishing as required.
• Wash walls and woodwork and clean windows, door panels, partitions, and window sills.
• Notify a supervisor about observed maintenance needs or required repairs.
• Follow company safety and risk management policies and procedures.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, equipment, and partitions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
