Airfield Engineer
About The Position
RS&H is passionate about aviation and is seeking an Airfield Engineer to design and manage a wide range of civil projects at airports. The role involves innovative design and technical excellence, with a focus on completing projects on time and within budget. The engineer will have opportunities to advance their career and professional development, potentially leading projects of varying sizes and complexity, initiating client contact, and assisting in winning new work. Activities include geometric design of runways, taxiways, and aprons; pavement design; stormwater and utility infrastructure design; coordination with airports, airlines, FAA, and other tenants; and construction administration/management. Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering or other professionally recognized equivalent disciplines from an accredited ABET university
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience
- At least two years of airport design experience
- California Professional Engineer license
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil3D, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

- Lead, develop, and deliver projects of varying sizes and complexity
