Airfield Civil Engineer
About The Position
RS&H is passionate about aviation and is seeking an Airfield Civil Engineer to join our Aviation Practice in Jacksonville, FL. We design and manage a wide variety of civil projects at airports throughout the U.S. and abroad, with projects reaching hundreds of millions of dollars in construction value. The successful applicant will work locally in RS&H’s Tampa, FL office to perform design and project management activities in support of airfield civil engineering projects. Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited ABET university
- Minimum of 6 years of experience
- At least two years of airport design experience
- Professional Engineer license required
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil3D, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

- Geometric design of runways, taxiways, and aprons
- Bituminous and concrete pavement design
- Stormwater and utility infrastructure design
- Coordination with airports, airlines, FAA and other tenants
- Construction administration/management
