About The Position

This is a job at a Depot Level repair facility maintenance on various types of aircraft, including but not limited to AV-8, C-130, C-2, E-2, EA-6B, F/A-18, H-1, H-53, H-60, MQ-8, P-3, P-8, F-35 and V-22. Military aviation platform experience is a plus. The role involves assisting in disassembly, repair, rework, and installation of various aircraft systems and components. Duties include working with fuel system components, performing corrosion control, and general labor tasks related to aircraft maintenance. This position requires adherence to a drug-free workplace policy and may involve post-offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
At least two years of relevant experience
Experience in heavy structure U.S. Military or related FAA or civil aviation experience
Must have Military installation DEPOT level maintenance experience
Must be a US Citizen
Must be able to pass a NACI which could include a credit check

Nice To Haves

Military aviation platform experience
A&P license
Experience from military fixed wing community or civilian heavy structure background

Responsibilities

Assist in disassembly, repair, rework, and installation of various systems and components such as wings, control surfaces, control systems, landing gear, arresting gear, fuel cells, instrumentation, and engines.
Assist with installing hydraulic tubing, actuating cylinders, and cable controls.
Assist in rigging, adjustment, and tests on various flight systems including landing gear, flight controls, instruments, oxygen/environmental systems, and power plants.
Assist in the installation of fuel system components to include self-sealing fuel cells.
Assist with the preservation or depreservation of aircraft or aircraft components.
Take hydraulic or fuel contamination samples.
Perform corrosion control treatment, including chemical or mechanical removal of corrosion deposits.
Perform Form-in-Place (FIP) seal removal.
Perform a variety of general labor tasks relating to aircraft or aircraft systems maintenance.
Perform fuel cell maintenance as designated.
Other duties as assigned.
