About The Position

This is job is at a Depot Level repair facility maintenance on types of aircraft, which include, but not limited to AV-8, C-130, C-2, E-2, EA-6B, F/A-18, H-1, H-53, H-60, MQ-8, P-3, P-8. F-35 and V-22. With oversight, assist in disassembly, repair, rework and installation of various systems and components such as wings, control surfaces, control systems, landing gear, arresting gear, fuel cells, instrumentation, and engines. Assist with installing hydraulic tubing, actuating cylinders, and cable controls. Assist in rigging, adjustment and tests on various flight systems including landing gear, flight controls, instruments, oxygen/ environmental systems and power plants. Assist in the installation of fuel system components to include self-sealing fuel cells and assist with the preservation or depreservation of aircraft or aircraft components. Take hydraulic or fuel contamination samples, perform corrosion control treatment, including chemical or mechanical removal of corrosion deposits, Form-in Place (FIP) seal removal and a variety of general labor tasks relating to aircraft or aircraft systems maintenance. Performs fuel cell maintenance as designated. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must have at least two years of relevant experience
  • Must have Military installation DEPOT level maintenance experience
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must be able to pass a NACI which could include a credit check
  • Maintain a drug-free workplace and perform post offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing.

Nice To Haves

  • A&P license
  • Experience from military fixed wing community or civilian heavy structure background
  • Experience in heavy structure U.S. Military or related FAA or civil aviation experience
  • Military aviation platform experience
