About The Position

The Aircraft Technology Solutions Manager serves as Citadel Aviation’s technology advisor during the sales process, covering avionics, cabin systems, and aircraft connectivity. The role partners closely with Sales and customers on active pursuits, helping them understand available and emerging aircraft technologies, assembling quotes and proposals when needed, and translating customer vision into requirements Engineering can build. It is a customer-facing, deal-paced individual contributor role, with an emphasis on providing accurate answers quickly, often the same day. Approximately 70% of the role focuses on customer and Sales advisory work, including technology discovery, configuration guidance, quoting support, and demonstrations. Approximately 30% focuses on engineering translation and requirements, including validating feasibility and maintaining standard configurations, quote references, and demonstration tools. The position works most closely with Sales leadership and customers, and also coordinates with Engineering, Planning and Procurement, and program teams to support continuity from sale through delivery. Regular travel is required for customer meetings, demonstrations, and pursuit-related events. The role is based in Dallas, Texas, or Lake Charles, Louisiana, or may be hybrid. When not traveling, the position is in the office five days per week, with occasional on-aircraft or hangar exposure during customer demonstrations.
