About The Position

Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Mechanical Component Installer (Technician B) to join our H145 Final Assembly Line team based in Columbus, MS. You will be part of the team to perform mechanical removals and installations on assigned aircraft or parts and subassemblies.

Requirements

Minimum of two (2) years related experience in mechanical installations.
Knowledge of mechanical blueprints and drawings.
Familiarity with common aviation type tooling.
US Person under ITAR definition (U.S. Citizen, green card holder or person covered under our existing ITAR license)
Only applicants with current work authorization will be considered.

Nice To Haves

A current A&P license is preferred but NOT required.

Responsibilities

Perform fabrication, assembly, installation, repair, replacement, adjustment, and alignment of parts and components.
Conduct functional checks of systems for proper functioning.
Perform work from three-dimensional blueprints, sketches, diagrams, technical manuals, work orders, inspection reports, and other similar documentation.
Perform normal troubleshooting to diagnose malfunction or failures on the following aircraft systems: aircraft equipment furnishings, fire protection, fuel system, hydraulics, landing gear, doors, fuselage, stabilizer, rotor systems, power plant and engine controls.
