About The Position

Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Mechanical Component Installer (Technician A) to join our H145 Final Assembly Line team based in Columbus, MS. This is a 2nd shift position with a work schedule of Monday - Thursday from 2:00PM to 10:30PM and Friday from 12:00PM to 8:30PM. You will be part of the team to perform mechanical removals and installations on assigned aircraft or parts and subassemblies. As well as assist other technicians when needed.

Requirements

Minimum of four (4) years related experience in mechanical installations in industrial or automotive.
Knowledge of mechanical blueprints and drawings.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English
Must be a US Person as defined under ITAR definition (U.S. Citizen, green card holder or person covered under our existing ITAR license)

Nice To Haves

Technical training in the aviation or mechanical field such as automotive is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Perform fabrication, assembly, installation, repair, replacement, adjustment, and alignment of parts and components.
Conduct functional checks of systems for proper functioning.
Perform work from three-dimensional blueprints, sketches, diagrams, technical manuals, work orders, inspection reports, and other similar documentation.
Perform normal troubleshooting to diagnose malfunction or failures on the following aircraft systems: aircraft equipment furnishings, fire protection, fuel system, hydraulics, landing gear, doors, fuselage, stabilizer, rotor systems, power plant and engine controls.
