About The Position

Global Logistics Support Services, Incorporated (GLSS), an S³ Inc. company, is hiring an Aircraft Logs & Records Technician at NAS JRB Fort Worth, Texas. The role maintains aircraft and engine logbooks and related records, performs operator, data-entry, and data-retrieval functions for aircraft recordkeeping, and supports recordkeeping systems and aircraft maintenance administration.

The technician performs networking functions between individual stations and analyzes and corrects errors caused by software, hardware, or data entry. The role also transmits and receives data using electronic means, extracts data, prepares and interprets management reports, and creates archives, backups, and data saves to support military deployments and detachment operations. Additional duties include clerical and administrative work related to aircraft maintenance, such as preparing reports and correspondence, filing, typing, and performing database and systems analysis.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active DOW Secret Security Clearance.
• Graduate of the U.S. Navy's Aircraft Logs and Records training program.
• Two or more years of experience as an Aircraft Logs and Records Technician.

Responsibilities

• Maintain aircraft and engine logbooks and associated records.
• Perform operator, data-entry, and data-retrieval functions associated with aircraft recordkeeping.
• Perform networking functions between individual stations and analyze and correct software, hardware, or data-entry errors.
• Transmit and receive data via floppy disk, modem, and other electronic means.
• Extract data and formulate and interpret management reports.
• Create archives, backups, and data saves in support of military deployments and detachment operations.
• Perform clerical and administrative duties related to aircraft maintenance, including preparing reports and correspondence, filing, typing, and database and systems analysis.
