About The Position

DPP is seeking an Aircraft Inspector II for an opportunity with a civil aerospace industry in Hagerstown, Maryland. This is an onsite W2 position with a 12-month duration. The role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a US Security Clearance. As an Aircraft Inspector II, you will use your skills and expertise to inspect aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment, and parts to ensure airworthiness and conformance to manufacturer's specifications and government regulations. You will be responsible for identifying any breach of standards for airworthiness. Your inspection authority will be limited to in-process inspections of work authorized under your FAA certificate.

Requirements

Active, current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe (A), or Powerplant (P), or Repairman Certificate
Experience with aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment and parts
Basic understanding of audit and inspection processes and procedures
Basic Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 2 or more years of relevant experience
US Citizen: This role requires the ability to obtain a Secret US security clearance.

Nice To Haves

Exposure to aviation maintenance and/or inspection operations processes and procedures
Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military
A higher-level degree may substitute for experience
Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
