Aircraft Inspector IV
About The Position
DPP is seeking an Aircraft Inspector IV for an opportunity with our client in the Aerospace & Defense industry. This is a 12-month W2 contract role located onsite in Vandalia, Ohio, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a US Security Clearance. As an Aircraft Inspector IV, you will lead inspection teams and oversee complex inspections, ensuring regulatory compliance and safety. You will also develop inspection protocols and contribute to process improvements. Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Advanced knowledge of aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment and parts.
- Thorough understanding and experience with the practical application of product audit and inspection processes and procedures.
- Basic Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Thoroughly familiar with the inspection methods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment, and tools used to determine the airworthiness of aviation products after maintenance.
- Active, current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- US Citizen: This role requires the ability to obtain a US security clearance, which requires a thorough background search and US citizenship. Residency requirements may apply.

Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee complex aircraft inspections.
- Develop and implement inspection protocols.
- Ensure accurate and detailed documentation of findings.
- Address and resolve significant compliance issues.
- Lead training and mentorship programs for junior inspectors.
- Conduct periodic audits of maintenance processes.
- Complete on-aircraft inspections to include avionics and structures.
