About The Position
A leading Japanese logistics company in Dallas, Texas is seeking a Japanese bilingual Air Freight Operations Coordinator to join its team. This office-based position arranges air freight shipments, coordinates schedules, and communicates with relevant parties to ensure import and export cargo transported by air arrives on schedule. Physical cargo handling is not required. The role primarily involves shipment arrangements, schedule coordination, and communication with relevant parties. The position is full-time, with Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts. The listed salary is $45,000–$50,000 (DOE).
Requirements
- Bilingual in Japanese and English.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Basic computer skills, including Excel, Word, and email.
- Strong communication skills when working with internal and external contacts.
- Ability to handle administrative tasks accurately and carefully.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to adapt to schedule changes and delivery deadline adjustments.
Responsibilities
- Book cargo space with airlines.
- Prepare and review import/export documentation.
- Communicate and coordinate with customs brokers, warehouses, and delivery companies.
- Track shipments, manage delivery schedules, and handle delays.
- Provide shipment status updates to customers.
- Prepare quotations and invoices.
