About The Position

Coordinates with airlines to book air export shipments, prepares shipping documents, tracks and traces shipments, and provides updated quotations. Creates internal customer profiles in CargoWise to provide all departments with detailed customer information when needed. Maintains effective communication with internal and external parties through a high volume of e-mails, phone calls, and in-person interaction. Generates and monitors reports daily. Creates invoices for billing purposes. Addresses internal and external inquiries and directs them to the correct department if needed. Maintains knowledge of dangerous goods compliance by checking shipping documents and inspecting shipments if needed. Ensures that shipments meet the required TSA regulations.

Requirements

  • Degree related to Supply Chain Management or International Business
  • 1-5 years of experience in air freight forwarding
  • Attention to detail
  • Negotiation skills
  • Multi-tasking abilities
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience dealing with a high volume of data entry
  • Associate's degree preferred
  • Six months to one year of related experience
