Experienced Air Duct Cleaning Technician
About The Position
Modernistic is hiring experienced Air Duct Cleaning Technicians for its Grand Rapids, Michigan location. The role involves providing residential and commercial air duct cleaning services while delivering outstanding customer service. Technicians work with a partner, lead and manage a truck and assistant in the field, and educate customers about additional services. New hires receive one to three weeks of training on Modernistic technology and processes before becoming Lead Tech. The company is family-owned, has six locations, and emphasizes customer delight, employee development, and promotion from within.
Requirements
- At least one year of air duct cleaning experience.
- Valid Michigan driver's license and good driving record.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Ability to move and lift 50 pounds or more.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Friendly, cooperative, and positive attitude.
- Dependable, with reliable transportation.

- NADCA certifications.
Responsibilities
- Complete one to three weeks of training to learn Modernistic technology and processes before becoming Lead Tech.
- Provide outstanding service to customers in their homes and businesses.
- Work with a partner to deliver air duct cleaning services to industry standards for residential and commercial customers.
- Lead and manage the truck and assistant in the field.
- Educate customers about the benefits of additional Modernistic services.
- Stock the vehicle with equipment and supplies each day and maintain its cleanliness and organization.
