Carpet & Air Duct Cleaning Technician
About The Position
Modernistic is hiring Carpet & Air Duct Cleaning Technicians for its Saginaw, Michigan location. The company provides cleaning and restoration services and is seeking customer-focused candidates who enjoy meeting people, pay attention to detail, and are comfortable with physically active work in a fast-paced environment. No prior cleaning or restoration experience is required; paid training is provided. Technicians work with a partner to provide services to residential and commercial customers and can progress to leading their own truck, often within 3–9 months, with an immediate pay increase upon promotion.
Requirements
- Valid Michigan driver’s license and good driving record.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Ability to move and lift 50 pounds or more.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Friendly, cooperative, and positive attitude.
- Dependable, with reliable transportation.
Nice To Haves
- IICRC certification.
- NADCA certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service in customers’ homes and businesses.
- Work with a partner to provide air duct, carpet, upholstery, tile cleaning, and water restoration services to residential and commercial customers.
- Prepare areas for service by moving furniture and following safety protocols.
- Learn from the Lead Cleaning & Restoration Technician to progress toward a Lead Technician position.
- Educate customers about additional services offered by Modernistic.
- Stock the vehicle with equipment and supplies each day and maintain its cleanliness and organization.
