About The Position

The part-time Ramp Agent loads and unloads cargo—including mail, express, baggage, freight, and company material—and transfers cargo on the ramp where required. The role includes receiving, delivering, and physically handling freight, as well as completing forms and messages needed to perform assigned functions. The agent follows WFS site security procedures for the assigned warehouse and other operations, monitors staff, contractors, and visitors for security concerns, and reports breaches, suspicious occurrences, or non-compliance with the site security plan to managers or through the WFS whistleblower program. The work may involve variable weather and environmental conditions, high noise, confined cargo areas, and handling heavy cargo and containers.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to communicate successfully with others.
Ability to perform job functions in variable weather and environmental conditions.
Ability to work in a high-noise-level environment.
Ability to pull, push, and lift bags weighing up to 70–75 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand English.
Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends (such as Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), holidays, and days off if necessary.

Responsibilities

Load and unload aircraft cargo weighing up to 70 lbs. in and out of confined cargo areas.
Push, pull, and position loaded containers weighing up to 3,200 lbs. on rollers.
