About The Position

Baker Tilly is seeking an AI Solutions Engineer to build intelligent, autonomous agentic solutions that streamline business processes, integrate with enterprise systems, and advance AI-enabled work at the firm. The role involves collaborating with colleagues and clients on application hosting solutions, developing implementation and internal project tools, and communicating with internal staff, external development vendors, and customer development teams. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least eight years of experience developing applications in a cloud-based environment, specifically AWS.
• Significant hands-on experience designing and developing AI/agent-based solutions, including developing agents on MCP servers on Amazon Bedrock Agent Core and integrating with LLM provider APIs.
• Experience optimizing AI-based solutions for token efficiency and performance.
• Experience integrating data between systems using APIs.
• Hands-on experience developing solutions using AI development tools such as Cursor, Windsurf, and Claude Code.
• Strong understanding of AWS architecture, services, and features, including containers, serverless architecture, security, and networking.
• Experience with development languages and frameworks, especially Python and JavaScript.
• Excellent analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication, collaboration, and time-management skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with PHP, NodeJS, and React.
• Experience with databases, including RDBMS and NoSQL.

Responsibilities

• Help scope, design, and build applications and infrastructure-related components for application hosting solutions.
• Develop utilities, tools, data fixes, and Sage Intacct page-level customizations to support internal staff during implementation and specialized internal projects.
• Communicate with internal staff, external development vendors, and customer development teams.
• Invest in professional development individually and through firm-wide learning and development programs.
