About The Position

Medpace is hiring an established Project Manager with a focus on artificial intelligence to join the Chief AI Officer (CAIO) in its Cincinnati, Ohio office. Working across Medpace on behalf of the Chief AI Office, the AI Project Manager will oversee day-to-day operations of the AI project portfolio, coordinate communications and project deliverables, and support the CAIO with organizational and global initiatives. The role includes maintaining knowledge of current AI projects and capabilities, identifying further opportunities, providing cross-functional oversight, and managing project plans, risks, and execution.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical, business, or healthcare field.
At least 1 year of experience as a technical or healthcare project manager.
Experience managing overall project roadmaps and timelines.
Strong leadership skills and good communication.

Responsibilities

Manage and provide accountability for day-to-day operations of the overall AI project list on behalf of the Chief AI Office.
Ensure effective communications with teams, including through meetings such as the AI deep dive Tech and AI working group.
Serve as the primary AI contact for oversight of operational, project-specific issues and work with teams on project deliverables.
Support the CAIO with global initiatives, including analysis and expansion of Microsoft Copilot capabilities.
Lead communications to the AI working group about the latest advances and collect proof points of benefits for presentation to the executive committee.
Support the CAIO by responding to organizational questions and requests concerning the use of AI.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of AI projects and an understanding of the latest AI capabilities.
Work with the CAIO to explore additional AI projects across Medpace and communicate and disseminate those projects to stakeholders.
Provide cross-functional oversight of internal project team members and deliverables.
Develop operational project plans.
Manage risk assessment and execution.
