About The Position

Industrial Color is the creative production agency within CoCreativ, a family of integrated creative production companies that also includes Globaledit and Smashbox Studios. Industrial Color partners with leading brands to create and deliver content across creative development, photography, video, post-production, CGI, AI, and studio production. As part of CoCreativ, it brings together creative, production, technology, and studio expertise to move complex projects from concept through final delivery. The Project Manager supports the day-to-day operations of Industrial Color's AI production team, keeping projects organized, artists aligned, and deliverables on track from kickoff through final delivery. The role works closely with producers, artists, and technical teams to coordinate schedules, track assets and revisions, manage handoffs, and ensure work is complete and accurate before moving to the next stage. It is a hands-on position in a fast-paced creative production environment, suited to someone who can bring structure to complex workflows and manage competing priorities with minimal oversight. Direct AI production experience is not required, but an understanding of creative production workflows and comfort working with artists and technical teams are expected. This is a hybrid role based in New York, with in-office work in Tribeca Tuesday through Thursday.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in project management, production coordination, or a similar role within a creative production environment.
Experience in post-production, VFX, CGI, animation, retouching, video production, photography, or a related creative discipline.
Strong understanding of creative production workflows, including asset tracking, revisions, approvals, and final delivery.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and moving pieces simultaneously.
Experience using production tracking or project management tools such as Excel, Monday.com, Airtable, ftrack, or similar platforms.
Strong communication skills and the confidence to coordinate with different teams, personalities, and external partners.
Ability to work independently, anticipate needs, and identify and escalate issues before they become problems.
A proactive, solutions-oriented working style with the ability to stay organized and adaptable when priorities shift.
Comfort working in a fast-paced environment where project volume and complexity can vary significantly.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Frame.io or similar creative review platforms.
Experience working across both still imagery and video production.
Familiarity with AI creative tools or AI production workflows.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the day-to-day workflow of multiple AI-driven creative production projects, from kickoff through final delivery.
Maintain accurate project schedules, production trackers, asset lists, and delivery timelines.
Track artist assignments, progress, revisions, approvals, and outstanding deliverables across projects.
Serve as a central point of coordination between producers, artists, freelancers, and technical teams.
Monitor project progress, identify potential delays or bottlenecks, and flag issues before they impact delivery.
Manage operational quality control, ensuring deliverables are complete, correctly labeled, properly versioned, and aligned with project requirements.
Track missing assets, references, and information, consolidating requests and following up with the appropriate teams or clients.
Coordinate project kickoffs, artist check-ins, reviews, and feedback sessions.
Ensure artists have the briefs, references, materials, and technical requirements needed to complete their work.
Maintain organized project documentation, including notes, feedback, approvals, and next steps.
Support freelancer coordination, including scheduling, availability, and onboarding as needed.
Track AI platform usage and production credits as part of project management workflows.
Help improve production tracking systems and processes to support efficiency as the team grows.
Communicate priorities, workload concerns, and resource needs proactively to keep projects on schedule.
