AI & Product-Led Growth Manager

Heron PowerScotts Valley, CA

About The Position

Heron Power is a startup company building cutting-edge power electronics for the 21st-century grid. We aim to debottleneck the growth of electricity generation and consumption with scalable, innovative, and lower-cost hardware solutions, accelerating the electrification of everything. Our first focus is building better converters (inverters & rectifiers) to connect large-scale renewables, storage, and loads to the grid. Heron Power’s leadership team is made up of seasoned veterans who have designed and shipped gigawatts of power conversion products over the past decade. We understand that no individual knows everything. We will all learn a lot together and from each other. We strive to build a collaborative, enriching environment conducive to personal, technical, and career growth. You can expect to work in a dynamic, hands-on environment driven by first principles thinking, speed, and a strong bias toward action. At Heron, small teams can have outsized impact. This role is built for someone excited by leverage: using the best tools available to help the company move faster, communicate more clearly, and punch above its weight. Job Overview As an AI & Product-Led Growth Manager, you will help Heron scale its product storytelling, digital presence, and internal operating leverage by combining strong marketing instincts with hands-on fluency in the latest AI, automation, and digital tools. This is a highly cross-functional role for someone who is equal parts storyteller, builder, and operator. You will create compelling product and go-to-market materials, improve how Heron presents itself across digital channels, and identify practical ways AI can accelerate work across the organization. You should be someone who is technology-native, moves quickly from idea to output, and loves sharing tools, workflows, and best practices that help others do their best work. In a smaller startup environment, this role is not just about supporting marketing — it is about increasing the effectiveness of the entire organization.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in product marketing, growth, content, digital strategy, operations, or another highly cross-functional role in a fast-paced environment.
  • Deep familiarity with the latest AI tools and a proven ability to use them to produce high-quality work quickly.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and storytelling skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts into clear and compelling materials for different audiences.
  • Strong judgment and taste in presentations, messaging, visual storytelling, and digital customer-facing materials.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently, prioritize effectively, and deliver fast results with limited structure.
  • High degree of comfort working across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Strong bias toward experimentation, rapid learning, and continuous improvement.
  • Excitement for working in a startup where high-output individuals can create outsized impact.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building web or digital products with strong storytelling and user experience instincts.
  • Experience with website design, no-code tools, and marketing automation platforms such as Webflow or similar tools.
  • Hands-on experience with the latest AI agents, copilots, and automation workflows.
  • Experience in B2B product marketing, technical marketing, or growth marketing in a hardware, energy, climate, industrial, or deep tech company.
  • Familiarity with power systems, energy infrastructure, electrification, or adjacent technical industries.
  • Experience supporting early-stage company growth, founder-led storytelling, or startup go-to-market efforts.
  • Strong design instincts and the ability to create polished, effective materials without large agency support.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain high-quality product marketing materials that clearly communicate Heron’s products, technical differentiation, and value proposition to customers, partners, recruits, and other key audiences.
  • Use AI tools to rapidly create website content, product one-pagers, recruiting materials, customer-facing collateral, and internal templates.
  • Partner closely with leadership, engineering, recruiting, and business development to turn technical ideas into clear, compelling stories.
  • Improve Heron’s digital presence through better website structure, product storytelling, conversion-oriented content, and faster content production workflows.
  • Help build scalable systems for content creation, research, asset generation, and internal knowledge sharing using AI-native workflows.
  • Identify and deploy practical AI tools across business functions to improve speed, consistency, and leverage in day-to-day operations.
  • Experiment quickly with new AI products, agents, and automation workflows; identify what creates real value; and help roll out best practices across the company.
  • Support growth initiatives across web, recruiting, customer education, and commercial materials that help Heron communicate more effectively and move faster.
  • Act as an internal champion for practical AI adoption, helping the broader team use emerging tools effectively and thoughtfully.

Benefits
