About The Position

Nevoya is hiring a foundational operations team member to support daily trucking dispatch and keep freight moving for customers. The role involves assigning loads, communicating with drivers, handling exceptions, and resolving day-to-day operational problems. No trucking experience is required. The associate will use AI tools as a default means of researching, troubleshooting, analyzing, drafting, and automating work, while applying critical thinking and initiative to identify and improve flawed processes. The position offers early direction, coaching, and ownership, with potential to grow into larger roles across the company.

The associate will execute dispatch from an established playbook, keep customers informed, monitor operational KPIs, and work with engineering and product teams to automate repetitive tasks. The role also contributes to continuous process improvement by documenting effective practices, flagging issues, and proposing solutions. Requirements

• A recent degree or 1–2 years of work experience; high-performing new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• AI-native habits, including using AI as a default tool for learning, research, and producing work.
• Strong critical thinking and the ability to identify problems, investigate their causes, and propose solutions.
• Motivation to learn, receptiveness to coaching and feedback, and comfort with a steep learning curve.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with drivers, customers, and engineers.
• Organization and composure under pressure, with comfort handling ambiguity and shifting priorities.
• No trucking, logistics, or dispatch experience is required.

Nice To Haves

• Internship or early experience in operations, logistics, supply chain, or a fast-moving startup.
• Comfort working with data, such as spreadsheets, SQL, or light scripting.
• Spanish language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Run daily dispatch execution according to the playbook, including load assignment, driver communication, check-calls, and exception handling.
• Keep loads covered and customers informed, escalating time-sensitive issues with judgment.
• Use AI tools daily to research, troubleshoot, draft, analyze, and automate work.
• Improve the playbook by documenting effective practices, identifying problems, and delivering process improvements regularly.
• Identify problems early and propose solutions.
• Partner with engineering and product teams to automate recurring manual work.
• Track operational KPIs, including load coverage, on-time performance, and driver utilization, and use them to improve operations.
