AI/ML Developer

Scientific Research Corporation•North Charleston, SC

About The Position

The AI/ML Developer develops and integrates AI/ML capabilities that automate data extraction, correlation, and model population for Battlespace C2 Blue and Red prototypes. The role uses AI/ML tools at Secret and TS/SCI classification levels to analyze doctrinal references, exercise reports, chat logs, and Fleet C2 system outputs, building cross-theater operational models. It automates ingestion of legacy government-developed C2 models and generates integrated models traceable to authoritative sources for Human-on-the-Loop verification by government analysts. The position supports high-side AI/ML capabilities for threat monitoring, automated data crawling, and alerts using multiple intelligence-community sources. It contributes to a common threat database and user-facing dashboards with geospatial visualization and automated triggers or alerts, and helps generate Red threat injects for LVC, experimentation events, and Battlespace C2 assessments. The developer configures and operates VMware and other virtualized test environments for AI/ML model development, integration, and regression testing. The role integrates AI-driven enhancements with existing data sources, C2 tools, and C5ISR interfaces; performs vulnerability scanning and remediation support; maintains secure software baselines in alignment with RMF and ATO requirements; produces technical and test documentation; tracks and verifies defects; collaborates with engineering, software, and threat-analysis teams; and supports configuration management of artifacts, software loads, and integration outputs. Filling this position is contingent upon funding.
